System Consultants is an architecture and urban planning firm established in 1976. Since that date we have developed many successful projects in the area of residential architecture design, urban planning development, landscape design, education infrastructure and beach house developments.
In the year 1997 we started integrating into our design and drafting processes the latest in CAD technology taking the leap from a hand drawn line to a computer vector. Starting in 2001 and witnessing the huge potential CAD technology had, a new branch within the company was created called the CAD Department. This new department was focused on selling all the new technological tools that the AEC industry needs, and so from that point we became partners with the main business providers such as Autodesk, Hewlett Packard, 3dSystems and Adobe. This new branch gave us a huge advantage that we did not know of when it got started, and it was that becoming partners forced us to become certified users, boosting even more the productivity of our own projects.
Starting in the year 2005 the newly introduced Building Information Modeling (BIM) gave the design and construction industries a huge leap in productivity, by allowing to gather large amounts of information from one single model. This in change has given our firm a big advantage in terms of productivity, efficiency and competitiveness.
As active users our experience is now being shared throughout the global AEC companies that identify the huge potential within BIM, but are looking to minimize cost and time to adopt this new technology by outsourcing.
